Unfortunately, ship-launched fighters are not customizable beyond the available blueprints and variants.į63 Condor - All-rounder. This makes fighter replacements incredibly cheap and disposable.įightersThere are four main fighter blueprints, most of which have several sub-blueprints containing slightly altered loadouts depending on your preferences. Regardless of fighter blueprint, replacement parts for destroyed fighters always cost 1,030 CR per fighter. The class 6 hangar is a massive upgrade over the class 5 as you can house two different blueprints at once (and, with multicrew, have both fighters out at once). Generally speaking, the class 7 hangar is usually unnecessary since it would be extremely rare for your ship to go through 30 fighters before the ship itself would require services, but if you plan on using the fighters at long range or have a loadout designed for long operation, it can be useful. ![]() Only certain ships can have a hangar bay mounted:Įach hangar bay houses a certain number of fighter blueprints that it uses to be able to produce, deploy, and service a fighter belonging to that blueprint.Ĭlass 5D Hangar - Houses one fighter blueprint and can produce up to 6 until needing a restock.Ĭlass 6D Hangar - Houses two fighter blueprints and can produce up to 8 of each fighter for a total of 16 fighters before needing a restock.Ĭlass 7D Hangar - Houses two fighter blueprints and can produce up to 15 of each fighter for a total of 30 fighters before needing a restock. e.HangarsIn order to use SLFs, you need to have a hangar bay equipped into your ship. There are lots of resources to help you with information - the wiki is a undervalued resource which has lots of good stuff - it would have helped you avoid your mistakes. So, in making your post, you hoped to provide some insight to help any poor unfortunates in the future, unfortunately because you didn't research it you totally undermined its position - using materials and commodities as examples basically would just confuse any newcomer who hadn't been put off by you calling the asteroids meteors. (Of course yootoob is even more susceptible to this.) In your case it just triggered on the keyword I suppose and left you thinking that this thread was the last-thing on the subject. Problem is (and I blame the horrible search on this forum) - using the googly for Elite is fraught with pitfalls - things change but google doesn't give a monkey's - it still pulls up pages from the web-archive of forums long despatched to never-never land. OK - Maybe I was a bit rough with you, mea culpa. You can vent by going to your refinery in you inventory and clicking on the resource you want to vent. It's an "unallocated resource." You need to either vent the titanium to make room in your cargo scoop, or you could vent one of your bins (silver or iron) to start refining the titanium. The titanium now has no place to go, because you don't have a bin for it. If you pick up a chunk that contains silver and titanium, the refinery will automatically refine the silver, increasing % in the bin that is storing silver. You need to vent this extra material to keep scooping.Īs an example, let's say your refinery has 2 bins and you are refining silver in one and iron in the other.
